SHIBUYA PUNK: GENESIS represents beginnings.

I’ve been a musician my whole life, but I’ve always felt like I was chasing a deeper artistic direction.

I knew how to speak, but I had nothing to say.

After reaching a crossroads in my life, I immersed myself in the culture of Grind Fiction, (sometimes referred to as Shibuya Punk, which inspired my namesake). To me, the ideas and aesthetics of dystopian futures, neon cities, and digital alienation have been quietly embedded in our childhoods. They reflect the world we’ve grown into, shaped by technology, excess, and disconnection.

GENESIS reflects an early engagement with these themes and is meant to resonate with those who recognize them in their own lives. It serves as a foundation for using music to gather ideas, experiences, and people into a shared space.
